Hi, I’m Tyler Haney, the owner and operator of Southern Acres Dog Resort here in Asheboro, North Carolina. I started this business out of a genuine love for dogs and a desire to provide a better, more personal boarding experience than traditional kennels. This isn’t just a place for dogs to stay, it’s a place where they’re treated like family!

Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Running an in-home boarding environment has allowed me to understand each dog’s unique needs, whether that’s high energy playtime, extra attention, or a calm, quiet space to relax.

In addition to my own experience, I work with trusted help who brings experience from both dog boarding and homesteading settings. With several years of experience in animal care, we are well-equipped to recognize behaviors, monitor health, and provide attentive, responsible care throughout your dog’s stay.
